Mayme Sue Riddle (Nee Richardson), age 89, beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 14th, 2023. She was born on September 1st, 1934, in Camargo, Kentucky, to parents Owen Richardson and Mildred (Hickman) Richardson. She married Kenneth Riddle on October, 3rd, 1953 in Kentucky, moving to Ohio in 1955. She and Kenneth enjoyed 60 happy years together, before his death in January of 2014. She was a homemaker for her beloved family and also worked as a seamstress at Bobbie Brooks. She worked for Hannah’s Monuments, as well as Bell Vault & Monument Co. Mrs. Riddle was active in the Yankee Road First Church of God for many years, serving in many capacities in the church. She was a Sunday school teacher, a member of the Christian Board of Education, a member of the Women of The Church of God, and even served as custodian of the church with her husband over the years. Mayme Sue is survived by her son, Jeff (Terri) Riddle, daughter, Shelley Alexander, her grandchildren, David (Liz) Imhoff, Susan (David) Cook, Carson (Daniel Massa) Alexander, Owen Alexander, great-grandchildren, Cameron Cook, Kylee Cook, Natalie Imhoff, Molly Imhoff, sisters, Roberta Johnson, Dorothy Montgomery, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceeded in death by her parents, her husband, her daughters Roslyn Riddle Imhoff, Wanda Riddle Helinger, brothers, John Richardson, Homer Richardson, and Paul Richardson. A visitation will be held on Saturday, Novmber 18th, 2023 at Yankee Road First Church of God, 3029 Yankee Road, Middletown, Ohio, 45044, from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM. A service will follow at 12 PM with Reverend Kevin Collins being the officiant. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.
