Ronald Colman Johnson, Sr. was born April 4, 1942 in Menifee, KY to Virginia and Ranie Johnson. He departed this earthly life on September 2, 2023 in Middletown, OH.

Ronald was a hardworking and dedicated man. He loved his job and enjoyed his family. He was very visible in the ministry at his church; Franklin Church of God, where he visited the sick and shut in at their residences, nursing homes, hospitals and prisons. He also loved ministering to the broken-hearted and needy people as well.

Ronald worked as a water softener operator for the Sorg Company (currently known as Essity) for 35 years before retiring in 2004. He famous line was don’t ask me I’m just the “water boy”. After retirement, he kept himself occupied by obtaining employment at Coleman Bowling Alley in Fairfield, OH.

Ronald is preceded in death by his parents; Virginia and Ranie, brothers; Douglas, Fred and Preston. Sisters; Geneva, Willa Mae, Vila, Florine and Nevora. He is survived by his loving wife of 26 years; Beverly (nee Griffin) Johnson, his children; Rhonda (Greg) Bricking, Ronald Jr, Rodney (Sandy) Johnson and stepson Steven (Dorenda) Kairn. His grandchild James (Lauren) and great grandchildren; Ethan, Charlotte, Chloe and Damin. His step grandchildren; Jesse (Samantha), James (Kayla) and Brandy (Preston) and 10 step great-grandchildren and 3 great greats.

Ronald will be missed dearly. Till we meet again “My Love”
